About Valve

Products of Yamato Valve are manufactured in Hikone city, Shiga Prefecture, which has Lake Biwa with rich water and famous as the production center of Valve.
After the first phase of construction of 1968, we had several times of expansion. Now the Hikone factory has functions from product planning to shipping, especially bronze valves are cast by Daimaru Industrial Co., Ltd., a group company, and we are operating with a consistent production system.

Gate Valves
Gate Valves
Typical gate valves are designed to be fully opened or closed.  Gate valves are widely used for all types of applications that are made by a variety of different materials.
Globe Valves
Globe Valves
Globe valves are a kind of control valve which allow the operator to increase or decrease flow.
Check Valves
Check Valves
Check valves allows flow in one direction and automatically prevents back flow (reverse flow) when fluid in the line reverses direction. There are some type of check valve : Swing check, Lift check, Hammerless check
Y-Strainers
Y-Strainers
Y-Strainers are devices for mechanically removing unwanted solids from liquid, gas or steam lines by means of a perforated or wire mesh straining element.
Butterfly Valves
Butterfly Valves
A Butterfly valve is a quarter-turn rotational motion valve, that is used to stop, regulate, and start flow. Our some JIS butterfly valve is compatible to ANSI flange.
Ball Valves
Ball Valves
Ball valves are quarter-turn, straight-through valves that have a round closure element with matching rounded seats that permit uniform sealing stress.
Moter Operated
Moter Operated
Important item of Plant & Piping system. These valves are generally of large and small size and are used for different applications such as Pump discharge etc.

Valve Material

Bronze
Bronze
It is generally accepted as the industry standard for pressure rated bronze valves and fittings. Bronze has a higher strength than pure copper. Bronze is very resistant to pit corrosion, and is generally more resistant to most chemicals
Brass
Brass
Brass is primarily a mixture of copper and zinc which is perfect for a variety of media, including natural gas.
Stainless steel
Stainless steel
Stainless steel's strength, resistance to corrosion and low maintenance make it the ideal material for a wide range of applications. It also has a long life cycle and is 100% recyclable.
Ductile cast iron
Ductile cast iron
Ductile iron does not break when it is bent, so it is more suited for high demand applications. Ductile iron is a strong and reliable material for pipes, fittings, and valves.
Cast iron
Cast iron
This is mainly used for comparatively low pressure and low temperature applications.
Cast steel
Cast steel
Cast steel has excellent mechanical properties, good resistance to stress corrosion and sulfides. Carbon Steel has high and low temperature strength as well as excellent fatigue strength characteristics.
